Info: Under the leadership of the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), this initiative is dedicated to strengthening fiscal governance, combating misuse of public funds, and fostering integrity in the management of national resources.
Initiatives:
1. Introduction of the Government Service Efficiency Commitment Bill 2025 (ILTIZAM)
This new law has been introduced to review and simplify complex and outdated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), making public service processes faster and more user-friendly.
2. Regulatory Sandbox Approach
New policies and service models are being tested in controlled environments (sandboxes) to evaluate their flexibility and effectiveness before wider implementation.
3. Continuous Stakeholder Engagements
Ongoing collaboration with global institutions such as the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) and the World Economic Forum (WEF) to align Malaysia's reform efforts with international standards and best practices.
4. Regular Publication of Reform Progress Reports
Periodic reports will be published to showcase progress in improving public service efficiency, promoting transparency and accountability in the reform process.
